To celebrate the opening of the Louis Vuitton Maison at Hotel Vancouver – one of only 12 in the world – guests were taken on a luxurious journey. After a celebratory champagne reception at the new store, a 1943 vintage steam engine transported guests to an ‘undisclosed location’ for the opening party.

The event was held in a classic railway transfer warehouse that featured a vintage Louis Vuitton store facade, with displays of Louis Vuitton luggage positioned throughout the space. A special performance by Argentine composer Gustavo Santaolalla accompanied an inspirational film by Louis Vuitton.

Co-hosted by Canadian-born model and Louis Vuitton muse Gabriel Aubry, the event’s 400 plus guests included the brand’s customers, local influencers and media.



The Parisian luxury brand treated more than 400 guests to a two-location celebration and a chance to rub shoulders with the brand’s model, Gabriel Aubry.
