After a decade of Beautycounter solidifying itself as a leader in clean beauty, Jane Gill PR recognized that the clean beauty industry was becoming oversaturated with greenwashing. The agency identified the goal of repositioning the brand as a changemaker while redefining the meaning of ‘clean’.
The program consisted of media appointments with the founder focusing on ingredients, safety and transparency, press trips to Ottawa and Washington to experience Beautycounter’s lobbying efforts, and an always-on national influencer program. Through these efforts, the brand continued to be a leading voice in the cosmetic reform conversation and clarifying the definition of clean beauty.
